【神ノ潮】盛り塩

日本古来の風習「盛り塩」に新たな息吹を吹き込む

塩には浄化効果や災いを寄せつけない効果があり現代でも「盛り塩」に運が開けるようにと願いを込めて多くの人が行っています。

「神ノ潮」は、日本の美を愛し、自らの美意識やデザイン哲学を持っている世界的に活躍するグエナエル・ニコラによる新時代の「盛り塩」です。

日本古来の風習に新たな息吹を吹き込み、インテリアとして生まれ変わった「盛り塩」「神ノ潮」を国内外へ、未来へ繋いでいきます。

盛り塩とは「災難を祓い、運が開けるように」という願いを込めて行われている風習

古来より「海(海水)」を意味する「塩」は禊同様に穢れを祓い、清める意味があります。

古事記の中で 伊邪那岐神が死者の国である黄泉の国から帰ってきた時に、海で また、塩が「お祓い」の意味を持つことから、神社においても必ずご神前にお供えされておりました。

良い運気を呼ぶものとして、平安時代、牛車に乗った高い貴な方を自宅に定めるために、牛の好物である塩を家の戸口に盛る習慣がありました。

自然との調和をイメージしながら、人と人を繋ぎ、この風習を未来に繋いでゆくミニマルなデザインと考え、コンセプトは純粋でクリーン、200年先も残るタイムレスなものであること。

透明感のあるガラスを採用し、モダンに進化した盛り塩の器は、どの場所においても落ち着いて見て、目にした人間たちのコミュニケーションを考えて、塩のエネルギーが感じられるモノに仕上がりました。

＜お塩について＞

同梱している「塩」は三重県の深海で採取した海水煮詰め、水分だけを飛ばす時間のかかる立釜という丹精込めて作りました。

＜奉納について＞

伊勢神宮に奉納された品々には''命''が宿ると言われ、奉納された品々を持つ者を＜多幸＞と＜健康＞に導く不思議な力が宿ると言われています。

＜盛り塩置き場所＞

・玄関

外から入ってくる悪い運気を祓い清める意味があると言われています。また、良い運気の入り口にもなる場所なので、神聖な運気を呼び寄せる効果も期待できます。

・トイレ

家の中で特に穢れが一番やりやすい場所です。盛り塩を使うことで、穢れを祓い、家庭内の運気をよくする効果があると言われています。

・台所

火と水は強い力を持つと言われています。盛り塩には、この二つのバランスを整える効果があり、火と水のある台所に行って言えば、家庭内の悪い運気を清め、無病息災や災厄を除去、家内の安全の効果が期待できます。

・洗面所

手洗い場や洗濯機がある水回りは、特に運気が落ちやすい場所なので、盛り塩を使って穢れを祓いましょう。

・リビング

家の中でゆっくり長い時間を過ごすリビングや寝室に、悪い気を浄化して良い気を取り入れるためには盛り塩を置くことが効果的です。

・お風呂

身体についた汚れや汚れを洗う場所なのでどうしても悪い運気が溜まりやすくなってしまします。盛り塩を置いて清めてください。

The concept behind this design is rooted in harmony with nature, connecting people, and preserving this tradition for the future through a minimalistic approach. The concept is pure, clean, and timeless, meant to endure for 200 years. The key idea is to ward off evil spirits and invite fortune.

The modernized container for salt, made from transparent glass, evokes a sense of calm and facilitates communication among those who encounter it. The energy of the salt is reflected in the design, making it a meaningful piece wherever it is placed.

About the Salt

The salt included is carefully harvested from the deep sea off the coast of Mie Prefecture. Using a traditional method called “tatakama,” the seawater is boiled down over time to remove only the moisture, creating this high-quality salt.

About the Offering

It is said that items offered to Ise Jingu Shrine carry a special "life force." Those who possess these items are believed to be guided toward good fortune and health through a mysterious power.

Locations for Salt Placement

• Entrance
  Placing salt at the entrance is said to purify the space by dispelling negative energy that may enter from the outside. It also serves as an entrance for good fortune, helping to invite divine energy into the home.

• Toilet
  The toilet is considered the place where impurity is most easily accumulated within the home. Placing salt here helps to dispel impurity and improve the household’s energy.

• Kitchen
  Both fire and water are said to possess strong energy. Salt in the kitchen is believed to balance these two elements, purifying negative energy, promoting good health, and ensuring safety within the home.

• Bathroom
  As a place where dirt and impurities are washed away, bathrooms tend to attract negative energy. Using salt here helps to cleanse and purify the space.

• Living Room
  In areas where people spend long periods of time, such as the living room or bedroom, placing salt helps to purify negative energy and invite positive energy, creating a peaceful atmosphere.

• Bathroom
  Since the bathroom is a place where dirt and impurities accumulate, it is especially prone to negative energy. Salt placement here is believed to help purify the space.
