【大和蒸留所】橘花KIKKA GIN 朱華

　奈良に古くから伝わる大和橘と大和当帰を使用した、大和蒸溜所を代表するジン。なめらかな口あたりのライススピリッツに、ふくよかな大和橘の香りと大和当帰の爽やかでみずみずしい風味を、独自の配合・蒸溜で纏わせました。最小限のボタニカルから華やかさとみずみずしさ、そして深みを引き出した、奈良らしい味わいです。

奈良県高市郡明日香村で採れたあすかルビーを贅沢に使用した、苺の甘い香りを纏った橘花ジン。

「朱華(ハネズ)」とは日本の伝統色で万葉集にもその名が見られる由緒ある色。朱華色とは黄色がかった薄い赤色の事で、天武天皇や持統天皇の頃には親王の色とされ、平安時代には禁色にもなっていました。ちなみに朱華色の染色は退色しやすかったそうで、万葉集にも「移ろいやすい心」にかけて詠まれた歌があります。
