2021年3月より始まった金継ぎ代行サービス。
器を取り扱うお店として、割れた器を修繕する方法である金継ぎの存在は以前から知っていました。しかし当時は、どこに問い合わせをすればよいかわからず、金継ぎ教室を一つひとつ丹念に調べた結果、「金継ぎ暮らし」様に依頼を決め、この修繕代行をお客様へのサービスとしてローンチしました。
反応はとても好評で、一時期はほとんどの問い合わせが金継ぎ代行についてと言っても過言ではないほど、多くのご質問をいただいたことを覚えています。
そんな金継ぎも、いまでは世界的な流行となっており、海外のお客様が当店の金継ぎ教室をご利用いただくことも増えてきました。
また、g KEYAKIZKAKAでは、取り扱いさせていただいている作家の器がたくさんございますが、焼成時に割れてしまうことが稀に発生します。
そうした、もう販売することができない器を作家さんからお預かりし、金継ぎを施して、新たな品物として皆さまにお届けする取り組みを昨年度より展開しています。
この度、約一年ぶりに金継ぎ作品が出そろいました。

“Kintsugi (Golden Repair) Lifestyle” Exhibition
The Beauty of Tears: Scenery Created by Rebirth
Our journey with Kintsugi began in March 2021. As a pottery store, we’ve always admired this traditional Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with gold. After careful research, we partnered with "Kintsugi Lifestyle" to launch our repair service—and the response has been amazing!
For a time, nearly all inquiries we received were about kintsugi. Now, this beautiful craft has gained global recognition, and we’re thrilled to welcome customers from all over the world to our kintsugi classes.
At g KEYAKIZAKA, we also work with artists to restore ceramics damaged during firing, transforming them into stunning one-of-a-kind pieces. This initiative began last year.
And now, we’re proud to showcase our latest collection of Kintsugi works. Each piece tells a story of resilience and beauty through restoration.
